Researcher

Nat Begg (she/they) is an anthropologist based in Kemk’emeláy (so-called Vancouver, Canada). Her research interests include social creativity, refusal, luck, the gift, and disaster. She has written about zines, hip-hop clowns in the Midwest, and urban gift economies in Vancouver. They are currently working their MA in anthropology at Simon Fraser University, focussing on tea plantations and landslides in South India.
