Cynthia Cui

Cynthia is a Chinese emigrant and second-year MA student in the School of Interactive Art and Technology studying Indigenous participation in museum and exhibition design under the supervision of Dr. Kate Hennessy. Her MA thesis documents the inner workings and processes of preparing a three-year exhibit at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, “The Water We Call Home”, and her own reflections on engaging in decolonial and Indigenous design methodologies within a museum.
