A document from a typewriter titled "Palestinians and Native People are Brothers; (some notes on why native people should support the national liberation movements of the Third World". This is a pamphlet which accompanied a presentation on January 10 1979 by the Native Study Group at the Third World People's Coalition celebrating the 11th anniversary of the Palestinian Revolution.

1971 - Canada: Native Study Group (NSG) formed

Group members feel that Marxism is a powerful tool that they could use to analyze their societal dynamics, including national liberation, self-determination, and the relationship between Indigenous peoples and Canada.

In 1971, former Narpers formalized the Native Study Group (NSG) with the mandate of creating revolutionary theory to the level where by an organization could be formed to do conscious revolutionary work.
